Africa Ndebele - athleisure unisex leggings

Dynotights is beyond stoked to introduce the new African series! Over the next few months, we'll be releasing four designs representative of four major regions of Africa. This series began with a conversation with Dr. Imani Cheers (@drimcheers) who had the amazing idea to bring the bold and vibrant designs of Africa to Dynotights. Among many other achievements, Dr. Cheers is the founder of It Takes a Village - a multimedia project celebrating black masculinity. Her project, @itav_boyhood2manhood, examines how social media impacts the public and mental health of both content creators and the broader Black community. Give it a follow to show your support and stay up to date with all of the happenings! This first design was inspired by the patterns from the Ndebele tribe of South Africa and was drawn by an African artist named Awoyemi Aworinkoye. We know that the incredible Dynotights community will love these bright colors and meaningful culture. With this series, we will contribute a portion of the profits to @melaninbasecamp in support of inclusivity and diversity in the outdoors.

Leggings are made of an 82% polyester 18% spandex blend and feature a stretchy elastic waistband. They're sewn by hand here in the USA! All the designs are unisex but I also offer a cut with a bit more reinforcement in the crotch. Check the 'reinforced' design if you're looking for a bit more breathing room down there, but as you can see the original cut works great for keeping things tight Be sure to check out our other designs!

PLEASE SEE THE SIZING INFORMATION IN THE PHOTOS Size up if you are between sizes or at the upper extreme of a size! The material will stretch, and the sizes below are approximate. Placement of pattern varies, designs when printed may not look exactly like example.

---------- CARE INSTRUCTIONS ---------- Machine wash cold, inside-out, gentle cycle with mild detergent and similar colors. Don't use fabric softeners. Tumble dry low, or hang-dry for longest life. Cool iron inside-out if necessary. Do not iron decoration. Do not dry clean.
